is looking for bookkeepers to join our team with a background in the Legal Industry:
Legal Books Inc. is actively seeking skilled Bookkeepers to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to perform various bookkeeping and accounting tasks accurately and efficiently. The responsibilities of this role include:

Managing law firm trust accounting, ensuring compliance with all Law Society By-Laws and Rules of Professional Conduct;

Reconciliation of bank accounts and maintaining comprehensive financial records;

Handling submissions for HST and other CRA filings;
-
Administration of payroll operations;
-
Processing all Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable transactions.
In addition to these core duties, the successful candidate should be a team player, proactive, and possess exceptional communication skills. The role demands strong time management abilities. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, demonstrating expertise in the following:

Working knowledge of PCLaw, Cosmolex, Soluno, or similar legal accounting software;

Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook;

Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy;

The capacity to work both independently and in collaboration within a team;

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Position is a hybrid of in office attendances and remote work.
